EDEN participated in co-organizing and implementing Phase 1 of the Global Immersion Guarantee (GIG) Program in Vietnam, established through the collaboration between the Mekong Institute, Can Tho University, and international partners. Serving as the foundational stage of this four-phase initiative, Phase 1 took place from November 28 to December 01, 2025, to foster academic exchange, capacity building, and experiential learning for international students. Throughout this phase, EDEN led operational coordination and supported execution across all activities-including the opening ceremony, interactive training workshops, and field immersion in the Mekong Delta. EDEN’s active contribution ensured a well-structured, professional, and impactful implementation for all stakeholders.
Objectives
The program aimed to strengthen inter-institutional academic exchange, empower international students through hands-on learning, and provide multi-faceted exposure to environmental and socio-economic challenges in the Mekong Delta. Furthermore, it fostered cross-border collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participating universities and global organizations.
Key Results & Impact
Phase 1 was successfully launched with the participation of over 100 international students, fulfilling all academic standards and timeline objectives. Activities were executed seamlessly and professionally, delivering high-value practical insights to participants. EDEN’s involvement maximized organizational efficiency, enhanced stakeholder connectivity, and amplified the program’s broader reach and impact.
